Southern Vectis Enthusiasts Day (e-mail to reserve space ASAP - read Marc's message below)
a one-off Event (26/27-May-2007)

This is now planned for the Sunday 27th May 2007.

The Sunday will include a depot visit at Ryde, at Newport, and a Museum visit. Time permitting we will also make stops for photographs at selected locations, including a lunch stop in Newport Bus Station.

The cost of this will be £20 per head. All attendees must be over 16 years, and will be required to sign a disclaimer and set of terms and conditions for access to our premises.

The likely transport for the day will be a mixture of some or all of the following:

602
681-3
640/1
400-6 (That means a newly delivered Citaro!)

...but we cannot guarantee any of these.

There are likely to be aditional activities on the Saturday for people arriving for the weekend, organised by the Museum, at an additional charge. For those paying the £20, we will also be providing a complimentary Day Rover for those who wish to stay on for the Monday.

There will be early ferry pick-ups and then drop-offs in Ryde, East Cowes and Yarmouth on the Sunday for anyone arriving for the day from Blighty.

We will be taking payment once we have confirmed details, but in the meantime anyone who wishes to reserve a place (and they are limited) should email me on marc @ southernvectis.com (Without the spaces).
Reservations will be made on first come first served basis.

All income will be donated to the IW Bus Museum for the retrimming of Bristol RESH Duple Commander 301 KDL 885F.
